A fun eight week program, designed to ignite, enlighten and increase your little one’s mind-body connection. This program has components of dance, yoga and fitness to provide dynamic movement, flexibility, and lots of fun. Inspired by story-telling, song, visualization and imaginative play, kids learn to move and stretch their bodies safely while exploring through shapes, animals, patterns, colours, and animals that are age-appropriate. Examples of yoga poses are flutter like butterflies, hop like frogs, curl like cats, stand rooted like trees, crawl like caterpillars and investigate the natural world through playful yoga. Lil Legends gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their environment through yoga Promoting relaxation and developing fitness and mindfulness. Benefits include feeling calm, relaxing the nervous system, developing better cognitive skills and having better sleep.
Kids will be distanced in a 7×7 space in class to comply with health & safety requirements. One adult must only attend and share a mat with 2/3 years olds until they can fully and safely participate on their own (teacher discretion). We recommend drop-off when possible (teacher will advise when this is appropriate for your child). Age 4+ years is drop-off only. Kids must be able to fully participate on their own following enhanced health & safety requirements for drop-off (and be potty trained). We are limited to 1 adult per participant in-studio to safely distance and meet occupancy limits. Waiting room is open with social distancing enforced. Masks required for all adults in-studio (masks optional for kids under 12yrs).
